Bianco Carrara

Bianco Carrara is the stone most people picture when they hear the word marble, and it is the backbone of the Apuan trade. The ground runs from a cool near-white to a soft pearl grey, crossed by fine grey veining that is dense and fairly uniform rather than dramatic. That evenness is the commercial point: it repeats across a large floor or facade without the eye catching on any one slab.

It is also the most available white marble in Italy, which makes it the realistic choice for projects measured in hundreds of square metres. Where Statuario would blow a budget and Calacatta would be impossible to match across a big run, Bianco Carrara delivers.

Selections are graded mainly on how light and how clean the ground is. C is the standard commercial grade; CD is cleaner and whiter; Venatino carries more defined linear veining on a lighter background.
